This isn't quite as good as the Black Friday deal but still a very solid price for this bundle if you missed that one.

Note, this is a bundled offer (both items will be added to cart)

I bought two of these. Had them one day. Did all updates and the cameras were awful. Returned and got the Note 8. $85 more with Best Buy deal. No brainer. These phones are hot garbage.

The unlocked one was $399, wasn't it? And the one from Sprint is even cheaper.

The Note 8 and Essential isn't even a direct comparison. Looks like you just bought the wrong phone. If you're looking for a top-tier camera phone, the Essential is not. You wouldn't buy a minivan and complain that it's slower than a racecar right?

Other than the LCD display and camera, the Essential is excellent, especially for under $400.

My comment was in regards to these phones priced at $500, which is when I purchased after the initial price drop. It's also what they're priced at now. At the $399 price there have been multiple chances to buy the S8, which I also purchased. It is more of a direct comparison in terms of form factor. After using both I just don't think there is any chance I would buy the Essential, even at $299. If you enjoy this phone that's fantastic. My comment was meant to inform anybody thinking they could get a flagship phone at this price. Hopefully they improve if they survive to make another attempt. I will surely give it a try.

The Essential wouldn't fit me personally, because I value a nice display and camera (currently using a Note 8), but for those who don't take many photos, or require the nicest OLED display, you really can't beat the Essential for under $400. Kickass build quality and design with the ceramic material and highest screen-to-body ratio.

This is an awesome phone. The camera is fine. It's as good as the S7 Edge I just sold. Do all the updates and use the Google camera application instead of the default one. Great display, no bloatware, fantastic build quality and fast updates. Only paid $300 for a mint one on Swappa...

I got the $400 BF deal with the camera. $400 would normally be out of budget for me in terms of smartphones. After selling the camera for $150 though, the phone came out to be $250, and at that price I am more than a happy camper. At $250, the camera (after updates) is fine enough. Low light pics are still garbage. Everything else with the phone is probably unbeatable for the money. Love the ceramic and feel/weight of the phone. No complaints from me.

Amazon dropped the price for the Essential phone with 360 camera again. Not sure how long the deal will last.

Best Buy is having the same price, phone only for $449.99. Not good enough in my opinion.
