Not sure if this is a targeted deal, but I received this in my email. Appears to be some fine print in order to complete the purchase.

Didn't work for an existing account.

Who is going to buy $100 worth of coins that is a new appstore customer? That's kind of nutty.

lol! Amazon Coins. Not falling for this shit again. I remember buying few thousand coins couple of years ago.. let me tell you Amazon app store sucks (They're OK for some free apps they offer, but not for paid apps).

First off, Amazon app store has limited number of apps. Probably about quarter of Google Play store apps. In order to install them, you have to go through Amazon app. Not only that, apps are slow to receive their updates. While Google Play apps are updated and kept on top of the newest version, Amazon apps are still several versions behind. Some of them don't even get updated! I think its really on the developer to update the version and it appears they give low priority to updating their apps on Amazon store.

Not only that, Amazon has got some nerve! They purposely banned selling Chromecast and other Google products on Amazon, as they're in competition with their own Fire and Alexa products. Ironically, all Amazon devices are built use Google Android OS. Without Google's software, they wouldn't even have OS to build their products from! Kind of a bitch move on Amazon's part..

Other than that, I am a fan a Amazon too! I've gotten several (probably hundreds) of great deals on Amazon, via Slickdeals!
