As a Drone enthusiast, please remember that this is 2012 technology at work here. For $50, it's pretty much a throw away product but I'm surprised that all of my local best buys had these in stock. I had no idea they still sold the 2.0's

I had bought the Power Edition when it was on sale for $160 months ago using a gift card from cashback. It was down to $125, but looks to have disappeared.

Since it's largely styrofoam, a gust of wind can cause it to go out of control and crash and since it's limited to Wifi connection via phone, range is very limited.

I ended up connecting a PS3 controller to my phone via bluetooth and then controlling it that way using the Sixaxis app on Android phone. It is definitely an improvement, but don't expect much out of it.

I recently bought a DJI Spark, but still have my Power Edition drone. I'm not sure what I'll end up doing with it.

Great price. Even though it's years old tech, Parrot was very advance in their day. This is better than most drones you get at this price range. Now.... if that 3DR solo deal was still going then $50 is better spent towards that. But it isn't.

I think the Parrot swing deal for $32 is still the best deal out and still available. Newer technology in that one.

So I need to register my Spark which I've owned for a few months already? Mad

Honestly, it went in to my calculation when buying it that I wouldn't need to register it.
