This is CCA, not Cu. That is why it is 4 gauge and cheap,but is certainly better than typical CCA.

The wire is copper clad aluminum (cca), high quality cables use stranded copper wire which is a lot more durable and a much better conductor. If you are just buying these so you have something in case of emergency they're fine but if you need to use these regularly you'd be better served buying something that is actually copper.

Yeah...can anyone point to a pure copper set of cables at anywhere near this price?

If you are truly concerned about the electrical carrying capacity of CCA cables, I would recommend skipping the 25 footers and going with as short of a cable as possible since electrical resistance increases with length. A larger gauge helps as well...
