This looks like a pretty good deal to me. 5, 10, 20, 29, 37 and 55 gallon kits are available.

https://www.petsmart.com/sale/fis...id=S300129

All kits come with glass tank, hood, LED Lighting, heater, power filter, thermometer, net and water test vial. For some reason the 5 gallon kit doesn't come with a heater.

Happy fishkeeping!

Deal appears to have expired. Tanks are still on sale but not 50% off.

Aww. Wish I saw this deal earlier. I saw the current disc prices and thought they are very cheap coz I got ripped off paying $250 for a 20g tank in a local store.

5.5 gal worth it? Or can a cheaper price be had (with heater) with the $1/gal sales? Trying to get rid of my 2gal as my Bettas over the years seem to hate it...

It's a common misconception that Bettas don't mind being in a tiny box. The fact remains that if you truly want one to be happy you need at least a 5 gallon tank to keep one long term. I didn't realize they could be an active fish until I found this out.
