I'm 99% sure that this isn't a deal. It's the regular price that Costco has always had for the gold pass.

I'm 100% sure it's not a deal. I bought it at $199 in February. It's been this price all year long.

Didn't know that this was the Costco price year round. Universal Studios has it for $299. For me it's a deal. I just bought a couple of passes and saved $200.

Does universal make sense for 10 and 8 years old boys?

It's a good price, some people just don't get the value of having a gold pass. You also get discounts on food and anything in the park.

I've been taking myself since he's 6 yrs old. Plenty of stuff to do. With the pass, I can now go and leave and come back another day if it gets too much in one day. AND it includes free general parking before 5pm. That's $25 saved in parking.

When I was 10 I was mesmerized by the giant Kong Kong. It depends on your kids. Jurassic Park, Back to the Future. You should take a look at the attraction list.
