The new strap is a good improvement. Not as nice as the PSVR headset's design, but much better than the default straps.

i dont know about you guys but im going to wait till vive 2 come out b4 i jump onto VR. from my research, these sets are nice but they are 1st gen stuff and there are great improvements. i want to have an awesome exp with VR so ill wait till vive 2 when specs are better. maybe 4k with at least 90hz on each screen. i know it will cost a killling but its worth it. unless you are the early adopters who wants to get ur feet wet with VR this is a decent deal. 500$ would sound like a better price since all other models has been lower 300-400. im all for HTC vive, just waiting for vive 2.

I had the vive for a year and loved it. the deluxe strap is nice as well and fallout 4 vr is supposed to be amazing. all my friends were amazed by the tracking abilities and I rarely had any issues. My 970 also ran the vive headset with no issues at all.

The headset is a little heavy and the field of view I wish was wider. I recommend waiting for gen 2 tbh. It will probably have the deluxe strap built in and - based on the other vr headsets out right now - have a wider fov and be much lighter than the current headset.

If you're wanting to invest now though it's a good deal.

I haven't tried the other systems but I have the vive and it is awesome. I bought a different pair of headphones and different face pad, but it is useable with stock gear. Can't even imagine how great vive2 will be

Agreed. It's like some kind of alien technology. I see why HTC always brags about it being the best.

I'll wait for the next accessory deal, maybe it will be included . I heard tp link
Cast works on the head works good too
Was sold in China now finally cleared for America . Nothing like ghz technology right next to your brain and compression stocking to lift the neck up. Should make you think better during gameplay
Vive makes the best accessories
