How do you do your newegg rebates?

229 57 December 22, 2017 at 08:33 AM
I'm an amateur at this. At the moment I just have newegg rebates, but I guess this would apply to any company.

What I thought I'd do is make a folder with all the pending rebate pdf files inside.

"!" means unpaid or unsure, then the date, status, rebate dollar amount, and item description.

"They" say you should document the forms, so in addition is a photo of everything right before I drop it in the mailbox. Is this sufficient?

This is exactly how i have been doing for years. I have folders by years, months and then store. Within i have folders to rename as status change and I change the main folder received/cashed for check if all subfolders are done and keep moving up that way.

Regarding the paperwork for newegg, looks good except i hope you are signing and dating the rebate form, also under section 4 of form i don't see the check boxes checked off.

I did sign and date, as it says you must sign and date. Nowhere does it state that the boxes must be checked. I guess I could start doing it. I may have even done it on one, but just as a mental thing for myself. But that can't possibly be a legit way they could dishonor a rebate if everything that's explicitly asked for is in order.
