If you ever travelled to San Francisco (or NY for that matter), you'd know that your hotel room will be super expensive for a teeny tiny room. Anything under a hundred bucks will only get you a dorm room with shared bath down the hall. EEK!

This deal is by Fisherman's Wharf and this property was recently renovated.

Groupon Getaways [groupon.com] have a deal with Hotel Zoe San Francisco for $119 a night, with dates into April 2018. Unfortunately, there's a daily "urban" fee of $22 per day. However, amenities include free wifi, free use of ipad in the lobby, coffee, tea & fruit water, bike rental and access t 24 Hour Fitness across the street.

Parking cost is ridiculous
Park directly across the street for half the price. On the reservations page in very small print it prices parkimg at $55 however once you show up if you are in a large vehicle it goes up to $65. Parking across the street was $35.

"Urban (Facility) fee," LOL. I don't see that the fee is mandatory per government, just a semi-hidden charge that should be, if honestly advertised, added to the nightly room fee. It's arguably illegal, actually, under California BPC 17200.

To be fair, Hotel Zoe is hardly alone in committing this offense.

That issue out of the way, Hotel Zoe looks like a very nice place, even for $144/night:

http://www.hotelzoesf.com/

The lowest typically available rate for the room is $148.85/night + $25/night + taxes ($141.98 + $25/night + taxes for AAA members).

We offer valet parking with in/out privileges for $58 + tax for standard vehicles and $68 + tax for oversized vehicles. The parking charge is an additional charge to the room rate and is not included unless otherwise noted in the package.
