Lego big bang theory set was discontinued long back and the only way to get it is through resellers in eBay, Craiglist, amazon. Looks like somehow target still has some stock left and they are selling it for it's MSRP 59.99$. There is no discount here but if someone is looking for one set and don't want to go though resellers then this is the only way to buy I guess ( please do check at eBay as mentioned in below comments, if you can find one for below 60$ without shipping cost then eBay can be a better option). putting out target option here, just in case it helps anyone -

Use Discover card or target card for 5% cash back.

You usually have big shipping fee in eBay and don't hey cash back. So overall cost maybe less from Target unless you try for used ones from eBay I guess.

Oh nice. If that's the case eBay can workout but cheaper. Let me modify the post a bit.

Maybe I am wrong and I did mention usually and not always. So there is no case of right or wrong I guess here. As mentioned by you if it's available for below 59 without shipping then eBay will better option. Just putting out target option of it helps someone. For few buying from Target maybe safer option than getting from reseller .

I ordered from ebay. Total was $60.00 even and at Target it was $60.98 After tax and Red Card 5%. Earned .60 in eBay Bucks so I guess overall savings was just 1.58.

Hey everyone, Merry Christmas and Peace on Lego World. You can't look at history on this set because it's now "Retired." It wasn't that well-liked according to some reviews, and after all it was kind-of an odd thing for Lego Ideas to tackle (a TV sitcom show -- well, other than the Simpsons, I guess they did that with the 2 big buildings).

If you are a collector and want this (maybe because you like the show) you're probably not going to find the "great deals" on it anymore. Once the current level of sellers dump what they have, this will start going up as most semi-rare sets do.

And, yes, personally I've had great results buying from Target and you get the 5% with RedCard and easy returns if you need to for any reason. Much better than messing with eBay if you ask me.

This is the retail price for the set when it was released.

Do not forget to check Bricklink and ask for a shipping quote from a seller if you are interested in this for a while, it has very poor resale value. Should be able to get this for $60 at a lot of places.
