Newegg has the Onkyo TX-RZ720 for $480 shipped.
All I could find for the price was Refurbs. This one is new.

Why does it say it is 7.2, when in the description it says 5.2?

5.2.2 = 7.2

Crutchfield has it for $799 so this looks like a decent deal but it's still Onkyo. Have had 2 and they've both given me nothing but headaches with the overheating and shutting off/burning up circuit boards. Never again.

$480 and it doesn't even have pre-outs? That's adorable.

It does have preouts. I always check out Critchfields rear pic for the connections:

Someone tried to say negative comments about my new Denon x3300... but if you do some reading online...You'll see it has rave reviews from Audioholics and several other solid sources as a "best buy". Oh, and that was reviews when it was $999. It can be bought today for $599 and I find it funny that anyone doesn't see value behind that. Especially when it's loaded with Atmos, 4k, 7ch, etc.

I bought this last week. HDR colors are greyed out but not when I connect the Ps4 Pro directly to the TV. What gives?

Maybe I'm thinking sub preouts and they are meaning amp preouts?

It has 7.2 channels, 2 of which you can assign to Atmos. What's so hard to understand?

The Denon x3300w/x3400w is a great receiver

This Onkyo model may actually be the equivalent and some users may prefer it's sound, but unfortunately, many of today's Onkyos have really poor QC/reliability

When people refer to pre outs, they usually mean multichannel pre out, at least 5.1 or 7.1 in today's scenario.
