Does anyone even use eSATA? Seems everyone uses USB3.0/3.1 and just as good. I think eSATA came about when only USB2.0 was available. Does new equipment even use eSATA? Also, be careful of these USB3.0 devices, they can interfere with your wifi signal.

I use eSATA because it gives me the SMART data from the drive.

I got a bunch from earlier rebates. Can't find a use for them besides a jump rope.
