Moto z mod

224 22 December 23, 2017 at 02:42 PM
I have a Moto z Droid, love this phone so far except for the battery.
Battery loses power in about 1 to 2 hrs of use.Tried many calibration techniques but none worked.

few questions I have are
1) how costly is it to send to Motorola to change the internal battery
2) Are there any recommendations on Changing battery myself
3) Is there an external battery mod I can live with while the internal one is totally dead.
4) Are there external battery mods that pile up with other mods.like Moto z + Batter mod + projector
5) what's the best choice for battery mod,Verizon sells 3 different types on its website

is it in warranty period? if yes, my experience with Motorola is that hey are easy to get repairs. chat with them. They once replaced my Nexus 6 which i had brought form AWS and once sent me a free battery for a Motorola that I had bought form ebay. All free of cost , no shipping too.

Check thsi monster of external battery: https://www.amazon.com/Motorola-B...al+battery

But, you will need internal battery as for power intensive tasks, external battery will not suffice.

Moto mods ave 2 types of external batteries :normal external mod battery, and external battery with wireless charging. if you have a wireless charger, I would say, get the modo mo battery with wireless charging. Charging is slow, but you can leave it overnight on the charger.

still chat with them, and emphasis that you are moto fan boy/girl. they might just help out. For the battery replacement, that worked for me. i rattled off the moto phones I supposedly had over the years , starting with the original Motorola razer Smilie
