i don't see it online anywhere, and you may have to try a few different warehouses in order to get it. our local one didn't have any (said they're expecting more at some point but it's backordered at the depot), and another local warehouse had 3 in stock but "couldn't find them." finally a third warehouse had six in stock but had already sold two by the time we got there to get one (about an hour later)...

we finally got it from yorba linda, ca. lake elsinore was out of it (they're the store that told us it was backordered at the depot), and corona had 3 in stock but when we tried to buy one there they couldn't find them in the back or up in the steel. AFAIK yorba linda had 4 left as of noon today when we left with ours...

Been drooling over this set even though i dont have the space. Thats the regular price but it has great finish and quality. Chairs have rubber feet so they don't make noise when you move them. $500 vs the regular $1000 they have last time.

Any idea as to how many boxes this comes in? Do you need a pickup or think it would fit in mid-size SUV? TIA

4 boxes. Appears to be 1 for the table and 2 chairs each in the other 3. We are just putting it together now...

you probably need a pickup. we borrowed our neighbors truck, I doubt it would have fit in an SUV (although I could be wrong). give me a sec and I'll measure the boxes...

My nearby Costco warehouse has a few available. I am seriously thinking about getting one, but I would like to get some feedback, specifically:

1) How easy is it to assemble the table and chairs?
2) How comfortable are the chairs if sit on for like 30+ minutes?

If anyone could share their experience about this dining set, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I'll get you info on both tomorrow. We are putting it together tonight and doing Christmas Eve supper here tomorrow night.

according to the box, additional chairs are available at costco.com. even though i couldn't find the set online, i did find this set of two chairs (for $109.99):

https://www.costco.com/Valencia-D...96922.html

the picture on this set online matches exactly the picture that is attached to the chairs in this set. it doesn't say that it matches this set, but the picture is identical...so i'm guessing they're the same.

if they are in fact the same, you're still better off buying this set and adding the two additional chairs for $109.99 (total $609.98 vs $899.99 for the larger set). disclaimer: this may be inaccurate if the chairs i'm looking at aren't the same...

table took about 45 minutes for the two of us to put together, while enjoying a holiday beverage and watching the SNL christmas special. you can probably do it in half an hour or less with two people concentrating fully on putting the set together.

i will say if you end up going this route, when you get to the step where you add the mounting plates to the table base you have to tilt the legs a bit to make them fit. it'll seem like there's no way you're going to get it to fit, but it will...you just have to finesse it a bit. also, the wooden dowels are just a guide - one of ours fell out when we flipped the base over to attach it to the table top...it's irrelevant anyway because there's no hole for it. the dowels are literally only used as a guide to attach the mounting plates. that was the only real semi-complicated part i can think of when putting the table together, the rest was pretty straightforward.

the hardest part of putting the chairs together was opening the box. no joke. maybe 10-15 minutes per chair, if that.
