for a family of four I am seeing a savings of about $1500 (off a $6000 starting price). I think I selected the correct room, waiting to see if there is more information here.... the website says nothing about this 25% off that I can find.

You'd think when you click through that you would get the 25% off.... nope. Same price as if you just started at the main page. This deal is a bit off.

Is this a good deal, or a standard deal they always have at this time of the year?

Unless you are a Florida resident or military, Disney rarely have special offers

It cost way too much. I heard there is seafood on the buffet every day. No wonders + mikey mouse treatment. I will do it one time, but not now.

Use a travel agent to book so you can get on board credit. Prices are fixed by DCL no matter where you book., and they can still apply the special offers.

Probably best is to use Costco which instead of OBC they give you a Costco card. This is probably the best value but you need to be on the higher membership (whatever is called).

Buy Disney Gift Cards at a discount to pay for the cruise, even when using a TA or Cotsco.

DCL hasn't have a kids sail free promo since 2013... Prices have been going up at a very fast rate. Discounts are very rare today, except the occasional last minute sales (look for VGT, OGT or IGT rates about 70-60 days before sailing)

I just checked, the March 17th sailing 7-Night Western Caribbean Cruise with Star Wars Day at Sea from Port Canaveral on the Fantasy is still available for 25% off.

$2191 per person, based on double occ. Taxes, fees and port expenses of $106 per person not included.
