FYI - This is a Dahua OEM product, thus it will work with other Dahua OEM NVRs ( Amcrest, Lorex, Q-see, and others )

Hi Eelnoraa,

Double check both of these that they meet the ONVIF spec - if so:

This should work ( imho ) as it is ONVIF compatible, and iirc the NVR in that LaView kit is also ONVIF spec compatible.

Remember, Hikvision ( which is the OEM of the LaView kit ) and Dahua ( OEM of this amcrest camera ) have features beyond ONVIF and use different APIs so you can interchange cameras and get the basics to work, however the advanced features probably will not - and that may not matter for some of the cheaper NVRs - which may not have some of the more advanced features.

Hi Daskid,

No this is not a special starlight model - those are typically 2MP, and cost minimum $120 each, and very few US vendors carry them.
