The Roku Streaming Stick+ is on sale again at Amazon for $49.99 + tax with Free Shipping.

The cheapest it has ever been is $42.49 on Cyber Monday from Target and Amazon.

There was also a targeted coupon from Target around December 14th that made it cheaper but after tax and shipping it cost more than the Cyber Monday deal.

$49.99 is still a great price for arguably the best Streaming Stick on the market.

I have an Amazon Fire TV (1st Generation), Amazon Fire TV Stick (1st Generation), Amazon Fire TV Stick (2nd Generation), Roku 2 XS, ChromeCast v1, ChromeCast v2, Nexus Player, WD TV Live+ and every console on the market and still prefer the Roku Streaming Stick Plus for my streaming needs. The WiFi on this particular model is far and away the best of any streaming stick device.

Lol what? I have a Roku 2 XS and it still works fine. It isn't as fast as this one but it still works and I still have it hooked up in another bedroom.

I'm not sure if I got a defective unit but the Stick+ and the new Streaming stick (The one with the power button) has had issues keeping a connection. Once in a while it will say that I lost connection and I'll have to restart the devices before it would let me loom for. WiFi signal. My other 2 older Roku sticks don't have this issue. I find it strange because these were suppose to have better WiFi signals

Odd I have yet to experience this on my Stick+. I've had mine since a day or two after Cyber Monday. I basically retired most of my streaming boxes unless it has a specific other purpose. My remote for the Nexus Player always disconnects but I have yet to see this happen to the Stick+.

i've not had any connection issues but check to see how hot yours is getting. i had to replace my first one after it showed nothing but green screen after just the third day of use. i noticed it was getting very, very hot before it died. the replacement is running a lot cooler and so far so good.

Roku is dead to me after all of their debilitating forced updates. I wasted so much money buying their garbage and they brick their previous versions with new firmware as soon as their new lineups come out. Forces you to buy their new product.

Got same price from walmart. Woking fine. This is my first roku so I can't compare. There are various offers to use like Netflix free trail for a month, sling for 7 days, direct tv for a month and so forth. You will see all this when you complete your account. (I was signing up for first time)

I bought this on last christmas deal over a chromecast since I thought it was a better option for pc screen mirroring since it has more functions than a chromecast than is just for morriring, but it couldn't make this Roku stick to stream by Windows Miracast.
Beware if you need this for mirroring screen purposes
