Anyone know of good brokers offering low cost DRIP investing or monthly investing options into stocks. The stocks I am interested in are not offered by computershare or by the company so wondering if there are any other options for periodic investing like $100 a month without paying $5 in transaction cost on it.

Thanks,

For a DRIP just use a stock broker and for monthly investing use a no or very low cost broker Smilie.

Late to the party. RobinHood doesn't charge commission on stock so you can set up monthly purchases on ANY stock for free. Most DRiPS only allow a specific large cap stock IIRC.

Alternatively, if you're interested in diversification, Vanguard allows you to purchase their mutual funds for free if you open an account with them. Last year, I auto-invested a portion of my paycheck every month which worked well.

nah, they spend any discretionary income on $8 latte's and $1000 iphones and count on the government to see them through retirement.
