NVIDIA's flagship graphics card, the GTX1080 Ti is packed with power in an efficient framework to take your gaming exploits to new heights. It's loaded with 3,584 CUDA cores and an enormous 11GB frame buffer, which adds up to 35 percent faster performance than the already wicked-fast GTX1080. In fact, the card is so powerful that it supports 8K displays up to 60Hz, and, of course, most any VR title. Armed with AORUS's all-around cooling solution, which employs a copper backplate and WATERFORCE module, the GPU won't overheat even during intense sessions of overclocking. And in addition to all the bells and whistles inside, the outside has some surprises, too. It's got RGB lighting with more than 16 million different colors and a host of cool effects to choose from.

Update on Massdrop: Each drop participant will receive a copy of Destiny 2 for PC (game code digitally provided).
Limited quantities are available.

That price is so bullshit. Why cant anyone offer a price under $700 for this card? Idiots are too greedy that they don't realize they could probably sell a LOT MORE if they just offered a sale that's targetted under the $700 range. The first one to do so will generate quite a lot of revenue for sure!
learn about economics. they are making more money by maintaining the price high per unit. the demand is there due to mining. the card brings in $6 a day mining

What a crock of shit. Why don't you learn about economics? Sell more at lower price brings greater profits than sell high.

Look at cars, there is a reason why economy cars sell more and is the bread and butter of the business rather than lambo's and ferrari's.

This is also the reason how AMD cards have been successful thus far in staying alive and competing against NVIDIA, even though they have inferior video cards.

Now if AMD were to produce a card on par with the 1080tis and sell it at a price point at less then 100~200 their nvdia components, it would drive nvidia out of business in that card range or force nvidia to drop the price on their 1080ti's.
Unforunately it seems at this time, NVIDIA has no competition at the card range which makes the consumers suffer.

Ergo, competition is good for the consumer. The more competition there is, the better.
not at all go learn a price to quantity curve bro. if I sell 50 units at 200$ profit vs 75 units at $100 profit. hmm which one makes me more money. yay I can do math yay

Nvidia: "Wait guys, I know we're one of the leading tech companies on Earth, employ thousands of the brightest engineers and business strategists money can buy, and continue to grow our business and dominance every day, but this one guy on this internet forum says our business model is all wrong."

"Gentleman, good work so far but you're all fired. Clearly I should have gone with this thrifty fellow for business strategy, it's amazing we got to #1 without him!"

Where are the majority of those boom companies we heard about during the .net boom years? Gone and never to be heard from again.

If they fail to innovate and rely only on their current merits they are doomed to die.

Nokia is a very prime example. Nvidia should not garner the hate of the core base of it's consumers for several years running. That dog will turn and bite the hand that abuses it.

I got the 1080ti Aorus (non water cooled). Is $6/day for bitcoin?

Yeah I tried that 2 times and never got an email back. They're horrible with anything that's promoted related unless it states on the listing.
