No tax when email promo code is applied. This is currently the best price. Newegg has the same price but CA residents need to pay tax ~$25.

$329 in MC and you also get $30 discount for your MB so basically $300 in MC.

I'd recommend a 1700, its almost $100 cheaper and comes with a wraith cooler, this 1800x does not come with a cooler, just FYI.

I can confirm 1800X does not contain a cooler in retail packaging, though I've seen places selling it all as a bundle.

Also make sure whatever cooler you purchase, either includes a mounting bracket or that you pick one up!

Also, also note that AMD confirmed that the same AM4 chipset would be used with Zen, Zen+ and Zen2.
So if you're looking to make a purchase imminently, one less thing to worry about!

Also also, also, means, you'll see cheap used Ryzen CPUs on the aftermarket, but if mobo manufacturers are greedy, their prices will remain high as few flood the aftermarket with owners keeping them during an upgrade! (Like what I plan on doing)

Thanks~ I aways use noctua for the cooler, so wraith cooler won't be useful for my case.

While I agree, the closest MC is 3 hours away, *and* in Chicago which means over 10% sales tax....

Cooler master evo works with the am4 boards by it's included bracket. Was a tad difficult install for a beginner.

AMD use to be budget build, but the damn DDR4 price offset even deal on mobo and cpu couldnt even help with the inflate price of DDR4, still wonder when will the price of ram goes back.
