Not easy to get it unlocked. I think you need to have a year of service.

Just got this after paying $724 at Best buy for the unlocked version a few days ago... It appears to be exactly the same phone if you intend on using it with T-Mobile... So far the apps that come preinstalled and the included accessories are identical... Will be testing it shortly to see if anything is missing but so far this seems like a great deal... Again if you plan on using it with T-Mobile...

Is this compatible with Sprint?

This phone is not compatible with Sprint AFAIK .... It does include a simple mobile branded nano SIM in the box .... And I can confirm it works on T-Mobile 4g-lte out of the box with a T-Mobile branded nano SIM.... I will see if they can activate the included SIM on T-Mobile.... So I don't have to go buy a nano SIM or cut my existing SIM

Just call T-Mobile and they will send you a new 3-in-1 Sim card for free if you are an existing post-pay customer. If they want to charge you, talk them out of it or call again to reach another rep.

All functions including wifi call working without any issue on T-mobile network with T-mobile nano sim card? I am a postpaid T-mobile customer, so if you can confirm this I will go switch my phone right away. Thanks!

for the s8 or s8+ and note 8 all the phones are identical. All you need is to odin the different firmware for the carrier of your choice. You will get all your features on t-mobile.

Yes I am sure. It says on the box..."Simple Mobile powered by T-Mobile".... I already tested cellular phone call and 4G-LTE internet with my post pay T-Mobile SIM ....I did not have to unlock it or request anything.... Just popped the T-Mobile SIM in and it asked me to restart to configure the phone for the network.

I didn't see an option in the phone to enable wifi calling like you would have on a traditional T-Mobile branded phone.... It looked really vanilla in terms of apps... I didn't see any of the usual stuff like T-Mobile visual voicemail and all that bloat they normally include...it looks almost exactly like the unlocked version from bestbuy in terms of the included apps....I will try to find wifi calling now and report back if I'm able to use it..
