I'd bet money you've never used an oculus rift for 2 reasons: first you don't need a bunch of room to use it, and second the resolution is actually quite good.

Great game. Definitely a workout. Gives you those moments of ohhh sh** when hoping to make that next jump. Highly recommend payed full price for this game. Your getting a steal. Unless you want to do the Oculus Holiday Sale that has this game in a bundle. That sale might have ended though.

Looks fun!

Owned the Rift and Vive for around 2 months a piece. Not enough games at the time to justify the cost (that and I never found myself playing it). However, it's one of the most immersive gaming experiences I've ever had. I'm extremely excited for the future of VR... especially in the next 3-5 years!

I just can't see this getting popular until the resolution is WAY higher and/or people have big rooms to use this in. I have a 1100sqft house. My family room isn't big enough to really take advantage of this.
Resolution is fine at its current state. Lots of games still look great. Everyone who played my Rift didn't have any issues with resolution. But I have a 1070, so not sure how low the res gets on other graphics cards.

PSVR, on the other hand, is behind on the graphics. But some games do so well with the immersion that the graphics can be forgiven. Like Resident Evil. That game will have you crap your pants. And PSVR games usually can be played sitting down.

So with that in mind, the concept of vr can still be quite popular despite ppl not having the room to play large room scale games.

Resolution is what makes VR stupid right now. It's WAY too low. Everything looks like it's about 10 years old because the resolution is too low.
