It's a Canon rebate and they are the gold standard for rebates. Arrives in 4-5 weeks.

Btw, this is a outstanding deal for this printer. I have one (and backup that's still not open) and have printed my landscape images with it for close to 3 years and never a problem. I had a color issue with LightRoom and a call to Canon tech was amazing..hold time of 4-5 minutes, tech was well versed on the printer, and gave me the solution in minutes. On a full set of ink, I get around 45 prints at 13x19 size. The quality is better than I get from most of the pro print shops online too. Heck of a printer.

If you do this I highly recommend taking photos of the box before cutting out the UPC, make copies of all the documents, etc. I had an issue but we got it worked out fine via email with those photos as support. Don't just peel off the UPC either, follow the instructions exactly.

As for the gift card, you can call Amex after you get it and state specifically that you want a "refund". They will issue you a check or ACH transfer it to your bank account.

Bingo! And a reason why Canon rebates are the best in the business.

Insanely nice printer (several friends have it) but beware it is MASSIVE. I'd be all over this but honestly I'd have to build it its own shelf somewhere; this ain't going on your computer desk or filing cabinet like a regular printer.

Just bear in mind that this is the same rebate that's been ongoing since October 1. So, if you have done this in the last couple months at Adorama or, more recently, with a camera bundled, at Focus Camera, you will likely get rejected.

The ink included with this will get you 40-50 full color 13"x19" photos. As far as the ink cost, google can help.

yes, expensive
The printer head is the nozzle that places the ink on the printer, the cartridges are what carry the ink. He asked about the cost of the ink itself.
