It is a good deal if you needed one, but this is also for older homes, newer homes require the 4 prong

Pretty simply. It's $3 vs $10-$15, thus making it Slick for anyone looking for one.

This isn't SlickTVs or SlickToys.. is SlickDeals.

Its not an extension cord...it's just a cord.

An extension cord would extend the cord...this is just a plain ole dryer cord...a good deal..but your subj is a bit misleading as I would like a dryer extension cord.

Good deal if you need to hook up a dryer or make a suicide cord for your generator.

At that price, its a great deal - you'd be hard pressed to find a pigtail for less than $15.

I have also used these for dishwashers, but you need to plan ahead and have an outlet in there. If you're remodeling your kitchen, it makes the dishwasher install much easier.
Are you sure about that ?!
Don't dishwashers run on 110-120v while electric dryers are 220-240?
It looks to me that this is an electric dryer cord, which cost under $10 at HD [homedepot.com]for the 4 wires.
