I actually have one. We use it for our two year old at my parents. It's like a mini portable camping chair but with a table for kids.

This thing is fantastic for a road trip. We put in the the back of the van and could have a sit down meal for our little one at any time. This is one of my favorite baby products. We even used it in hotels. Put it on the bed at meal time. The bag that comes with it is quite convenient.

We got one of these as a gift and gifted another one to friends. This has been fantastic for our son since he was a year old. Recently went with us on a trip to Asia. It was a great option for seating in the bulkhead seats on the plane, as well as a portable booster seat (it comes with securing straps).

It doesn't look like the straps are very good per some of the reviews. Any personal experience? With the way the straps look anchored on the back, it doesn't look very helpful.

I own one of these and it works great. Never had an issue with it.

How do you use it in the bulkhead seats on the plane?

This is NOT a safety seat and is not intended for use in an airplane. But it is great for travel. You can easily take it with you to restaurants, hotels, family etc.

Set it up on the floor. There was quite a lot of legroom for my wife and I already. When we didn't want our son running around we sat him down in the chair on the floor and setup his iPad in the safety card/magazine pocket on the wall. It was like he has his own seat. Of course, it was only during the in flight portion. We had it stowed away in the overhead for takeoff and landing.

We even had a flight attendant tell us how creative that was. 14 hour flight made easy.

Correct. Not designed to be a safety seat.
