I understand there is a premium for this type of branded item, however anything more than $10 for a plastic box to store other plastic things in is a rip-off. Sorry.

These are expensive, but they can also be used to build.

These are kind of small right?! From some pix it looks like the height is about 3 books high

My son is a huge LEGO fan, and I would like to buy him some, but I think it is better to buy one of those LEGO classic boxes, which come with similar containers and are at this price, and also come with a bunch of extra LEGO pieces. Or am I missing something?

Have some of these for my son, they are nice at a discounted price like this. I like them because when not in use you can stack them and leave them out in his room and they are a bit decorative as well. plastic bins would just be an eye sore if left out

Totally agree with you. Especially when back in the day, most classic Legos came in a plastic bucket or some sort of storage container. Not the crappy card boxes they do now.

Hooray, so I have to buy multiple to be able to simply stack them. PASS!

The best deal was a staples during the summer. I got 8bricks for 16.95 and 4x4 for 9 each. They kind of Suck not Much room in them but they look cool stacked

I measured the Duplo cardboard boxes my kids use to store the duplos. They are 8x8x16. So they basically need two of the 8-brick to replace each cardboard box. That's expensive.

But I ordered them anyway.

Meh, they are obviously cute novelty/decorative items. Don't like 'em? Good for you; get something else.

The yellow brick shows up as $18.99 for me with a $0.95 coupon that can be clipped shipped and sold by Amazon.
