Invicta is shit, let me save you the time.

Save a bit and get a Seiko or Orient if you're looking for a good gateway watch.

I dunno. My Invicta Pro Diver runs on a Seiko NH35 automatic movement and its certainly well built. Definitely a better movement than my Seiko 5.

What Invicta watches have you owned that have led you to that broad brush opinion of the brand? Or are you just parroting what you've read on the internet?

The Pro Diver is actually the ONLY Invicta watch worth getting, and maybe thats because they use Seiko movement, one of the main gripes for Invicta is they bullshit people on how much their watches are worth, they are just a hommage brand that copies other watches and market it with a MSRP of 700 to think you're getting a deal when the watch is made to sell for 100, thinking you got a good deal when its basically MSRP.

They used to be a real Swiss brand but they were taken over by some US company in Florida and it seems like their tactics is pretty much market at a high MSRP and mark it down by 80% to trick people into thinking they are getting a high end watch for a really good deal when its far from the truth. Its pretty shady imo.

Mix that in with hands falling off, the bezel coming off .......on a so called " high end watch" it will start being insulting.
