Guess it's the cheapest one among similar products.

fakespot gives this an F.
went on their website to find out more about their company and zerolemon just seems like another knock off chinese company that rebrands mass made electronic accessories and resells them.
if you shelled out enough money and purchased a macbook pro with the extra usb-c ports this type of dock requires, shell out more money on a quality hub that is less likely to cause damage to your expensive laptop. one of the reviews states.. "Works great on the right side of my 2016 MBP but if I use on the left side, my keyboard and other USB devices do not function."
could be the user's fault with a broken usb-c port but I'm more willing to bet that this cheap dock is the source of the problem.

Ok so what is a quality hub then? Do you recommend the type that mount on the side or ones with a cord that separate from the MacBook

depends on what the user wants. do you prefer the portability and ease of use of the ones that attach directly to the side of your laptop? or would you rather have the dock that is more bulky but is probably going to be more reliable?
As for the portability option, I would suggest the hyperdrive: https://www.amazon.com/HyperDrive...hyperdrive

one of the pictures has a promo code you can use for 20% off, "HYPERDUO".
they seem like a more well established tech company based off of their website: https://www.hypershop.com/

of course this isn't really slick but when it comes to my macbook i'd prefer using quality accessories.
