Thanks for your work on the price comparisons - the show is decent and has the nice perk that most of the actual actors voiced their cartoon counterpart.

For those of you that have Prime, this is free to stream and watch..

I went 2 decades of Trek before learning there was TAS. It's not bad but with the 60s/70s graphics, is it really helped by Blu Ray?

The magic of blu ray makes it look like a pixar movie. Disney wishes its animation looked this good.

In all seriousness the main benefit of bluray would be the extra color saturation and less jagged lines.

The animated episodes are very decent in terms of story line, entertainment value, etc. I "rented" them from Netflix when they still mailed their DVD's. As I recall though, the animated series were made in the 60's and 70's as a previous posted mentioned.

Not sure what the "magic of blue ray" can do with it.

Netflix still mails out DVD and Blu-ray discs. I get a couple a month mostly for movies not available through streaming on their site.

Grew up watching OG Trek w/ my elders, found this a few years ago & marathon'd the series twice. Gets dry in parts, but overall a great extension of the franchise & characters. Great find!

Price did not drop in cart. Remained at £8.14 for a total of $15.66. Not ideal for a 3 disc set but se' la vie.

Still bought it for $15.82. Late Christmas gift for my mom, the biggest Trekkie I know. I DON'T THINK she has this. IF she does, oh well she has two now. Lol.

Thanks, OP!

I still like the US covers over the UK. I still have the original DVD set which cost around $30-$35 and only bought it because I never saw them back in the day and I thought they might go OOS.

I'm still hesitant dropping it on the Blu-ray set but if I had to it's got to be the US cover. The UK versions seem to add ugly rating symbols. I only did get the UK version of the ST TNG set since the price was too good too pass. I still haven't opened it.

But even with my first run of the Cartoon series I think there were maybe 3 at most out of the whole bunch worth watching or "rewatching". But if you've never seen this before and don't own the DVD set then get this if it's cheap enough in UK or US.

I'm still waiting for a Blu-ray set of Voyager and DS9 or at least the Borg Collective remastered for Blu-ray so the cost to the studio wouldn't be huge and confined to a several episodes from each series.
