Your best bet is to look up stereo/speaker installation for your vehicle on YouTube (a lot of times it's the same for a range of years). You'll also need a few specialized tools and a couple other parts specific to your vehicle, a wiring harness for sure, and sometimes a mounting bracket or faceplate so it matches your original. I recommend crutchfield.com or your local audio store for those parts. As far as DIY, I've done stereos and speakers for about 5 vehicles, some my own, some for others, and although it was intimidating at first and I did a kind of shitty job (luckily it was my own car and I've since made it really nice), it's definitely doable if you've got YouTube and some DIY confidence. In my opinion, the audio quality increase from stock is 110% worth the effort, plus you get to learn something new. Best of luck!

I disagree. Do your research before and take your time you'll be fine. You will never learn if you don't try.

I just installed this stereo a few minutes ago, Bluetooth works great with my note 8 and it displays my phone's name.

Great price. When I was looking at a Pioneer car stereo with front USB and aux it was around $80-90 on sale for just the head unit. This is cheaper and comes with 2 pairs of speakers, even though I would only be able to use the fronts (could have used both if I had the 2 door version of my car).

I read the interface is kinda wonky on these USB head units though, so I passed. Throw a USB stick (mini) in that port and you've got thousands of songs to flip through.

Thanks! 69.83 after tax. Quite a few stores had them. Going to look into reviews now. I recently put a new JVC non CD player (Bluetooth, etc) into my 04 impala. I'm sure I'll be keeping that in there since its already done and was much easier than a longer CD head unit (don't need CD). I was more interested in the speakers, looks like these are the exact size my impala takes. Is this still a good price to just take the speakers and resell/reuse the other head unit in something else? I would think these speakers are better than base low end ones from 2004. One is rattling a little so I was thinking of getting a new one anyways

Edit:

If I'm looking up the right stuff here from my phone, the speakers by themselves are $50 on Amazon... So I guess it's not too bad a deal to get the head unit for $19...hmm I'll give them a try and see if they sound better than the stock ones

How does it come out to $65? My store had same day pickup, in stock, but still says $90 when I try to order for pickup.
