Really smart move. Let's drive Best Buy out of business and have no local source for electronics. I love idiots who do not understand economics and the importance of competition. I remember others years ago complaining about Circuit City, and they would love to have that company back now. Support Best Buy where the price is close.

Where are these new competitors you speak of?

Best buy use to be worst buy, but they have really changed since a year ago. I noticed a lot better deals, better customer service at the stores and plus they have that reward program.

On the contrary Amazon service has gone the opposite for me. Customer service just keep escalating to higher ups which does nothing for my issues. I ended up calling it a loss on one of my purchases. Prime shipping is no longer prime with all those add-on items and certain items doesn't even qualify for prime even when ship and sold by amazon.

All in all I think Amazon has turn a corner where they are too big to fail and just sticking it to their customer when they can. While best buy knows they need to attract customer and now adapting to this new customer base by offering more better deals and services. I think a similar thing is happening to walmart. They now have amazon as a competitor and they had to adapt to continue to compete.

All things being equal you should buy the EVO Plus since they usually cost a little more. If there's any difference it's not borne out in the benchmarks.

Thanks, OP! Just founded out I have $5 BB certificate, which made it 50% off. By the way,the only different between evo plus and select is the color. They are the same card.

Wondering what the difference is between U1 and U3? Since many newer cards have speeds faster than 10 MB/s, Ultra High Speed classes further differentiate their performance. U1 cards are recommended for 1080p video recording and have write speeds of at least 10 MB/s; U3 designates a minimum write speed of 30 MB/s, fast enough for 4K video.

I've used both the EVO+ and Select cards but for an average user (galaxy s7e. amazon fire) either one is fine and I can't notice any differences. If you need it for a gopro (or 4k video) go with the 64mb .

On best buy site it says 25% off if you buy 3 accessories, but discount doesn't apply in the cart. Did something happen with best buy recently?

Due to my absolute boredom I was able to ascertain that the select series is an amazon exclusive item but the performance specs are the same between the two cards. The only other difference is something about the warranty which may have to do with the quality of the product.. also the select is a few fractions heavier then the plus. That being said I just bought the plus at best buy 64 gig. thanks op.

32s seem to be the perfect size these days for all devices. I have enough 64s.
