No. This is 8 tool not 7 like before. This adds impact driver. Great deal imho.

Multi tool is AWESOME. Picked it up for $36 the other day when I bought the drill combo kit and chose the multi as my free, then returned the kit and they charged $36 to my card rather than the $60+ retail.

I just used my buddy's Ridgid 2 days ago and his has a quick release "Chuck" on it. OMG. So F'ing nice instead of that damn Allen screw to change bits. I'm so tempted to buy the Ridgid head just for that reason. FYI the Ridgid and Ryobi heads are interchangeable in case you want their reciprocating head or the right angle drill head etc...

Seems like a good deal if you need the kit. Probably not best quality for a professional, but should suffice for around the house.

I have used Bosch 18V Li-ion tools for many years. What's wrong with Ryobi quality? I like the affordability and performance so far. Tools like the glue gun are very handy and worth trying.

Very few tools are professional grade so I wouldn't take that as a dis against Ryobi. Ryobi makes fantastic home tools.

I think this is a great price, I picked up the 6 tool set last year for the same price... Though mine has a multi tool , which seems to be replaced with the sander here.

Hmm, got the 7 tool earlier for $149 FP deal. Switch it out for the driver?

I think this is a great deal. Even if you only need parts of this kit, at less than $25 per tool (not even including the 2 batteries, charger, and drill/driver kit) you can easily sell off the few pieces you don't need and still make it worth it. The only tools that go for under $30 individually are the hand vac and flashlight. If I hadn't already picked up a bunch of tools with the hammer drill deal I'd be all over this. Thanks OP!

Ryobi is good for light and medium duty not pro grade. I have Ryobi for all my cordless stuff but I will say that if I were starting from scratch I would take a good hard look at Ridgid since it's lifetime warranty (even on the batteries) and each of their tools is a little nicer tool with slightly nicer features when compared side by side. No complaints about Ryobi but I went through a lot of their old non Li-ion batteries which would have paid for the difference in price back then. hopefully that's not the case with their Li-ion.
