I clicked to see what an "LED Halogen" bulb is.

Answer: It doesn't exist.

OP, remove "halogen" from the title. The bulbs you linked to are LED only. GU10 correctly describes the fixture type.

You can find these bulbs in IKEA if you have one nearby. They should be marginally better and you can always return them if bad.

I think the ones at IKEA are like $5 each.

At $1.17 each, I'm in! 4.4 rating on Amazon but Fakespot C. Still, the price is great and worst case it's not a huge loss...

FYI, 3000k is just about Soft White, and what I got.

Pardon my ignorance but would these bulbs fit the typical recess lights installed by builder all over the ceilings of rooms such as formal living rooms, family room, kitchen, etc?

I find that the existing ones (builder provided) make the house seem a bit darker than I would want it to be. I have a separate point in the center of each room to put a decorative chandelier in which I can ensure is warmer, for when I want mellow mood lighting. But on a day to day basis, I do want brightness in the house. I already have a bad eyesight as it is.
