Extremely easy, after you are done making cappuccino you hold a button for 10 seconds which cleans all the milk pieces. You then put the entire milk container in the fridge for next time. I had a $400 Breville with the milk wand and loose coffee you put inside with a tamper, would take 20+ minutes to make 2 cappuccino, most of that time was cleaning the milk wand. With the Lattissima it takes about 2 minutes to make 2 cappuccinos, including the clean process.

It's much worse, more time-consuming, and more expensive to drive to a Starbucks, order, and drive back home... just saying.

I have a Nespresso Vertuoline machine, an Aeropress, and a Bodum French Press. I also have an Knock Aergrind Manual Burr Grinder. Currently looking for a Chemex.

The Nespresso is for my quick and convenient get- to-work coffee, and my lattes. While the Aeropress and French press are for my days off when I have more time to enjoy a good brew. It's all a matter of preference.

Lattissima Plus or Pro foam the milk without the mess. Very different machines but I prefer the Lattissima line

Got this machine last Christmas at launch from Sur La Table, it's a great machine, no complaints.

Picked up the "Plus" version of this at Williams Sonoma on Black Friday week for $262.50 before tax. It was $350, but if you were subscribed, you got an additional 25% off any small appliance.

No dude! Latissimas are great machines, but you also need to wash out all the milk touching pieces once or twice per week. You can't let that milk get stale in there.

Absolutely, I do it 1-2 times a week. The real time savings is in the actual day to day making of the coffee. The little milk container is a piece of cake and dishwasher safe

Capsules are bad for the environment and in the long run much more expensive than buying regular coffee. Just saying.

OK. Just wanted to make sure you gave the full picture. The milk container is easy. The most work for me is rinsing out the few little pieces. I soak them in hot soapy water and then rinse each under running water for half a minute or so. Takes far more effort than the daily use, which seems close enough to nothing.

Nespresso Citiz is the better option. They are built to let, on sale for about 150$ without the mess as mentioned here in the previous comments. I also bought the Delonghi EC 155 -all manual work (you need to grind separately and then froth with the wand) for 80 some dollars, that works great for the money and if you want decent coffee. Nespresso is pure convenience for a price tag.
