All I was doing was showing that it was indeed the same one for $849 that another poster mentioned.

You might want to learn some proper manners since no where did I mention I was comparing which one was better. Douche! Peace

You could say that about a majority of laptops sold. But, your point is probably more nefarious than that.

Not that it would be ideal, but you can put honest to goodness photo and video editing software on this. Yes you can code and compile on this or a chromebook I assume, but this has something above a Celeron you'd find on any chromebook I'd spend money on. Say you want to even spend $500 to get a nicer chromebook, at that point I'd switch to Windows or even used Apple laptop.

And most Chromebooks aren't meant to load gobs of software on (what minimal software you can load). The fact you can fill up the decent 128GB hard drive with loads of programs is a clear cut difference. Even nicer Chromebooks typically aren't above 128GB.

And lastly, the reason I'd tell most anyone to get an Air over a Chromebook or other Windows laptop in the $700 range is the trackpad. Very few other laptop makers come close to touching (get it) how well the trackpad works. If you're using the machine for even 3 years drives you up a wall with a crappy trackpad, a few hundred more is worth it.

Because it has VINTAGE ddr3 (yes three) ram and an entire 128gb of storage -- if you got an iPhone with 128 gigabytes of storage it would cost you like a thousand bucks! Oh, and Apple makes such wonderful commercials to make us feel better about buying their products!
Can you show me a better one around the same price, I'd like it light also.
Thanks
