$89.99 at Amazon with a ton of reviews:
https://www.amazon.com/Turtle-Ste...071ZRTMXF/

Sounds like you need to update the firmware before using them or else there are connection issues.

No these don't use any wires. The USB is just to update then they are completely wireless. Just turn on and play.

Do these work with PC as well? Or only Xbox?

They use Xbox Wireless to connect so if you have the Xbox Wireless adapter for PC then yes it should work.

If you don't have one, Microsoft is releasing a new affordable version of it in Jan:

Just my personal PSA I went with a deal on the Turtlebeach 420+ (the 600 predecessor) and they squeeze your head way too much. If you are a semi-serious gamer save up for comfort. My TBs now sit on a shelf after my Christmas splurge on Plantronics RIG 800lx. http://www.plantronics.com/us/product/rig-800lx

I can wear for two/three hours without feeling them and the sound is incredible for the price.

The Rig are very comfortable and sound good expect in the low end. They are abysmal in that regard and completely bottom out with any kind of rumble or boom. Not worth $150.

Interesting, I'm extremely satisfied especially with the Dolby Atmos enabled. Which do you prefer? I've been banned from playing with stereo volume on so I have to play with headphones and open to anything better. Smilie

I'm afraid my Astro A50s are on the way out (have had them for 6 years) so I started looking into a possible new headset like this one, but I worry I'm going to be disappointed with the sound quality of a "cheaper" headset. Would be nice to be able to test drive some of these before committing as opinions vary wildly on what's the "best". What sounds good to one person may lack something (i.e. bass) for another.

I have the 420x+ and the sound quality is fantastic, more bass than my seinheiser pxc 550 but less overall quality. The issue with these is they are not comfortable at all, unless they updated the cradle significantly with the 600 update. The 420s hurt the top of my head so bad.
