Thanks and repped. This is indeed a good deal ($199 MSRP, $130 camel avg, on sale for $99 at manufacturer site)

Cool history:

Woolrich is the oldest continuously operating woolen mill in the USA. From providing wool blankets to Civil War soldiers to producing some of the finest wool blankets, Woolrich has pioneered styles that have become American classics.

Trail blanket also on sale for $89 along with a half dozen or so other Woolrich things: https://www.ae.com/women-woolrich...m=sUS-cUSD

Thanks. This was my morning impulse buy. I've always wanted a Woolrich blanket and these are made in the USA!

It's cool that AE is selling this type of product. As I teen I used to wear it all the time, now I'm in my 30's and have found myself still making purchases with them. For instance my wife only liked VS underwear (ripoff), but the Aerie Sunnie are even nicer and can be had for 7 for $29 right now (msrp $14.50). They use un-airbrushed, more typical, models like Iskra Lawrence. Idk, they're likeable.

I don't know anything about wool blankets, but if the trail blanket is 40x60 that sounds pretty tiny.

Don't know the situation as have not checked their web site, however, I buy directly from Woolrich often, just last week a Trout Run flannel shirt. Being on their email list, I regularly get notices of close-outs/sales and do recall some kind of blankets a few weeks back. They seem to make good stuff; I have quite a few flannel shirts, all bought at around 1/2 price of regular retail, i.e $20-$25. + tax. Check 'em out.

Why buy this when you can just get a wool blanket from Harbor Freight?

https://www.harborfreight.com/60-...92625.html

It only has a hint of gasoline smell.

And that pesky little word "blend". My mechanic is always telling me to go with the synthetic blend when I'm doing an oil change. 3 years now and he keeps pushing for it. vomit
