Wow. Not bad. I have the J7. I've been thinking about the J7 Perx. I'll have to research and see how it compares. ANyone with info, let me know.

EDIT: Wow, what's up with their site? They totally changed it. I thought your link was SPAM or a fake site.

It's a fine phone for $100. Decent processor, 2gb RAM/16gb ROM, big battery, large screen. Camera looks to be on the crappy side though.

Does the Samsung Pay app work on the J7? I'm desperately trying to jump on that bandwagon on the cheap...

Search Kodak phone here, which has 3gb ram 32gb storage and less than $100.

...and it doesn't work with the Virgin Mobile service.

The only thing stopping me from buying the phone is that for some reason my 2016 J7 has a better camera. 13MP compared to the J7 Perx with 8MP. Weird that it has such a crappy camera.

No - the cheapest phone that supports Samsung Pay on Virgin Mobile is the Galaxy S7. During Christmas VM was selling it for $350. I bought mine used mint condition for under $250 but those eBay listings don't come up very often. After selling my S5 my phone upgrade cost me $75. IMHO that's the best way to upgrade a VM phone - buy a good condition one off eBay and sell your current phone.

Thanks for elaborating. Do you know of cheaper phones supporting Samsung Pay on any other carriers?

The cheapest Samsung phone that supports Samsung Pay is the Galaxy S6. Getting a good condition one off eBay would be your best bet in getting a good deal - that way if the ESN is bad you can still return it to the seller (vs craigslist where there is no protection).

So, it's not worth it? I'm big on the camera thing. I take a lot of pictures of stuff.
