Keep in mind that the Newegg reviewers came back to review months after they purchased, which resulted in warranty claims.

None of the Amazon reviewers stated how long they've had their PSU's running. Only one person stated that he had his for two weeks before it failed.

However, it is well known that Newegg users are more critical than Amazon users.

Very true, although to form a solid opinion, never base it on one site. Take all tech review sites, stores, discount forums, etc in account.

One important factor we all miss with reviews are total sales. Let's say total sales are 1000 and review failures are 10, that's a 1% failure rate.

Essentially, everything is a gamble these days. I'm going to hope for the best with the superb warranty that's offered.
