Are they comparable to Feit brand? I have them, but they are not smart compatible and therefore wanted to see replacement makes sense.

Thanks for the help..

They are zigbee, so as long as you have a hub that can control them, you should be fine. They are not Wi-Fi though.

I have 6 of these and they work great. In hindsight, would have been much cheaper to get a smart switch for the wall, but with these I can change the white balance if the light.

I would also add Zigbee to the title of this.

I do think the Commercial Electric deal for $8 a bulb is much better. Unfortunately that expired. I have a bunch of smart switches as well but I still pick the smart downlights for temperature (mood) change. I can set some scenes (I prefer warm and moonlight) and call Alexa (or Google) to activate

I agree. Of everything I've learned about home automation, smart switches generally are the way to go vs bulbs. Lamps and stuff bulbs are fine, but being able to flip the light off manually is the difference maker. If you flip the power off on a smart bulb, it's just off, smart switches can turn back on.

With that said I do have one of these lights on my front porch, should have done the smart switch instead, I will say the day light vs warm is cool, and you can't get that via a smart switch

Downlights last considerably longer than bulbs so the price will kick up because of that

If GE z wave Amazon deal $19 didn't expired so soon, I would have got that instead.

Never used Halo brand lighting before. From my experience, individual LED recessed lights usually run $9-$12/light for the color temperature I like. From what I can tell, each light can be controlled individually (on/off/color/etc.).

This actually seems like a pretty solid deal considering for a few bucks more you get smart home control and individual color temperature adjustment. Bought 4. Thanks OP.

I already have LED downlights. I switch is cheaper than replacing all of them.

I bought 2.

I went to store, but they did not ring up to the online price. I asked the checkout person if they can take a look and they said they do not price match their own online prices. I said ok, can I buy and pick up in store (like right now), she said yes, however, that option was not available to me when I did it on my phone, only ship to home or store. They eventually agreed to give it to me at the lower price in store. I told her that was bad corporate policy to not honor the online price, in store.
