I think there is a C model in 65, might help if you include model number 65S401

I have the $314 55" TCL 55S405 4K UHD HDR Roku with Directv Now and it rocks. HDR10 helps, a lot of tv for the money.

might want to add YMMV, out of stock in my state. That's the biggest problem with these mark downs.

Doesn't target have this same model for 698 everyday? It's where I got my 65" during the 20% Xmas deal

It's the s04 model and it's 798 currently. Seems to be sale quite often though

I often score leading up to BF, doesn't always pay to wait for doorbusters. Target sale but Amazon PM'ed it so I got free shipping to door. Thought about returning it until I tweaked the picture, it's damn nice now. This 65" was only $595!

Thought it would hold me over for next BF but the my dream refurb Vizio P65 came along a week later. $799 I already have too many tvs.

did you try the hdr channel on youtube or some UHD movies on blu ray? It's not going to compete with tvs twice the price but I notice some HDR pop, next to my plain vizio 4k.

Not an extreme difference from regular 4K but still noticeable. If you watch or stream cable channels, it is horrible compared to others.

Some tvs up scale better than others, I'd say this is acceptable with decent feed. It's all about the source material and stream quality. My Directv Now is HD most of the time but does degrade during peak viewing periods. People still comment how good it looks and quite surprised what I paid for it.

Those rtings settings were for a 43" so didn't work for my 55". Not scientific but I had both roku on youtube to test HDR.. The Vizio P50 looked better until I did HDR.

On the other hand, I wasn't that impressed with Prime HDR for some reason, too soft and dull on TCL. I didn't really try that hard to calibrate it but it made all the difference with other material. The real test will be with Dolby Vision on my P65 next week, stay tuned.

I saw a 65" TCL for the same price at my local Target in the Midwest as recently as last night, though I don't remember the exact model number.
