Ive had 2 OCZ drives fail on me with in the warranty period and the warranty replacements 1/2 failed again. But that was before Toshiba bought them. I'm sure it's less of and issue with Toshiba owning them now.

But as a side note the customer service was great and gave me no issues with the replacements.

Zero useful info in this post.
Seems useful to me. Drives fail, some manufacturers more than others. Bad that they failed, good that he said they have good customer service. Toshiba may have bought OCZ, but the ones being sold may be older stock.

I'd say nothing useful in your post, decent info in Loudog's post.

Reviews aren't great. I'd personally stay away. If you want to get a product with Toshiba's new BiCS 3D TLC NAND get the much better SanDisk Ultra 3D or WD Blue 3D. Either can be had for $80 right now.

I have had bad luck with OCZ products. Years ago a PCIe SSD and an internal SSD of mine were defectiv within a few months and replaced by manufacrurer, but all data on them were lost. Since then I put this brand onto my blacklist.

But he dislikes the brand so much he posted twice!

Gold star for persistence. Btw, self fulfilling prophesy if you never use a product again after first failure. It would be 100% failure. Ovbiously that cant be thr case with most consumer products.

totally agree.. no point wasting your money on these. 3D NAND are way better & price wise not too far away
