No, it isn't. You obviously have this confused with another game. Azure Striker Gunvolt is somewhat similar to the MegaMan Zero series.

That goes for any emulation/rom argument since the NES days. Keep that nonsense elsewhere.

Thanks OP, in for one.
This game will become extremely rare like the 3ds version, new copy for 3ds is going for over $100

It's a shoot em up game like those old arcade plane shooting games with better graphics. If you like those chances are you'll like it

It's a niche game, that probably won't have further printings beyond the initial release (came out in Nov 2017). I have both versions and the Switch version has slightly more HD assets, 60fps, and a few other features. It is hardcore, a Megaman-inspired platformer.

How does the second game compare to the first? I enjoyed the first one but there wasn't much of a challenge compared to some MMZ entries. Is it easier or harder?

Depends on your proficiency with Megaman games. I'm not a huge fan of them, but still found this game to be a challenge with some of the bosses, until you learn what weapons work best, their moves, and special attacks.

Overall though, it's a fun game that is an upgrade over the 3DS version, and for $24 (I paid the $39.99 MSRP), you may find enjoyment.

Japanese VO's though, but that's another discussion.
