I have this radio. It's clearly patterned after the now-discontinued Eton FR160 Microlink, which I also own. (See obvious similarities here http://www.toptenreviews.com/outd...io-review/)

While the iRonsnow's build quality isn't as good as the Eton's, I did a function check and everything works as it should. Pulled in several FM stations in spite of the old school analog tuning. Also picked up at least one NOAA weather band channel providing local weather and sea conditions. I did not test the iRonsnow's battery bank feature, or charging the internal battery with solar power alone. The hand crank worked fine producing power for the light and radio.

This is a fairly good price for this kind of thing, and not a bad idea for any household's weather emergency kit.
