Samsung Galaxy S8 Verizon and Samsung Tab E $18 per Month Jan 1 Only

It's currently not on their website or anywhere else except the commercial linked below:

https://youtu.be/glhrbadNGGo

Looks like discount is applied via bill credit over the course of several months.

Fine print reads $753 + $249.99 due, and 573.84 subtracted over the course of 24 months. So $1003-$574=

$426 for both a Samsung Galaxy S8 AND Samsung Tab E.

TOMORROW ONLY.

Happy 2018

If the Tab E goes for $250, it shouldn't. Might be a nice bonus for anyone who wanted a Galaxy S8 though.

Verizon wireless offering Galaxy S8 PLUS Tab E for $18 per month.

Sorry I don't have much else info since I only glanced this while on my phone, and I'm just doing a quick mental calculating. I'm assuming the usual DPP apples and such.

Don't know what this deal is worth for people, but doesn't seem bad.

Here's the offer details from Verizon's webpage:
Here's how it works.
Start 2018 with a complete tech package. Buy a Samsung Galaxy S8 and a Galaxy Tab E on monthly device payments. Get both for only $18/month.
You'll save over $550 on the Galaxy S8 by adding a Galaxy Tab E!
First, add a Galaxy S8 to your cart with device payments. Your $573.84 savings (which will be applied as a bill credit over 24 months) will show at checkout once you've added your Tab E to your cart. Close this window and click "Next step" on the page to get started.
Next, you'll have to leave your cart and add a Galaxy Tab E 32GB with device payments to your order. Don't worry, your Galaxy S8 will be waiting in your cart when you return. Use this link to get started:
https://www.verizonwireless.com/t...ab-e-32gb/
At checkout, you'll see one great price for both devices: $18/month. Check out the fine print below for more details.
Ends 1.1.2018 at 11:59 PM ET. $756 (Samsung Galaxy S8) and $249.99 (Samsung Galaxy Tab E) device payment purchase req'd. $573.84 bill credit for GS8 applied to account over 24 mos.; promo credit ends when balance is paid or line terminated/transferred/. 0% APR.

Looked like a good deal but unfortunately as part of getting the tablet, they require you to add the tablet as a new device to your phone plan, with additional monthly access charges (above the $18 per month for paying off the hardware).

Don't forget about the $20 line access fee for the phone and the $10 line access fee for the tablet.

$30 + $18 = $48 a month for both or $20.41 more a month for adding the tablet.

You also can't upgrade, has to be a new line and you can't turn in an old device or pay more down to modify that $18 charge. Overall, it's a meh deal unless you're just starting an account or are ok with yet another phone line.

I went through the whole process of adding everything to the cart (after saying I wanted to upgrade a line), the above prices were applied.

is it my imagination or are these Verizon bill credit deals worse than the old 2-year contract pricing?

I would have taken this deal to trade in a 1 yr old iphone 6s but the fact that my bill will also increase $20/month for a tablet I don't want turned me away. I'd take the phone for $18 and tell them to keep the tablet, if I could.

well, I took the deal. However, I learned later the credits weren't applied until month 3. And, here I am on month 4, still looking at the full rate for the phone. It's a total ripoff. Verizon is still charging me full price for both devices. I've called them 3 times, chatted repeatedly and everytime I get a low level CS rep who "opens a ticket". This is a SCAM.
