These have been this price at a few places lately, but they have expired at all the spots i found threads for. I think it's a decent deal if you want a cheap usb stick. Just usb 2.0, but that's ok for this small of a drive.

Target (need to get cart up to $25 for shipping....or you can pick up in store)

Amazon it's an add on item...

Sandisk.com has a USB 3.0 version (16GB size 3-Pack) for $17 (use AFTERXMAS promo code for that price and free shipping). - thanks 3rivers6rings

Added to cart and ordered with Alexa ~ worked for 1 of the 2.0 $4.99 drives. Small and slow but ok for $5 I guess.

They should be cheaper. Walmart had the new versions of the 32GB for $3 and $5.

Just a quick note on the SanDisk Ultra: I wouldn't use these for anything remotely intensive, either physically or in the amount that you read/write to it. I've had multiple Ultra drives that have either fallen apart physically or are failing to store data with any level of integrity. Ive carried them in my pocket on my keyring and used them often, but they didn't last more than a couple of months. If you use them lightly and occasionally, you should be fine, though.

Anyone else with similar or differing experiences; please share your thoughts. My experiences are strictly anecdotal.

Haven't had any issues with them, but I don't carry them around either. They are used to just backup certain files and to transfer files in my household.

Just picked up the 3X 16gb sandisk 3.0 from the other thread for like $18.24 after tax and free shipping. Not sure why you would pick this Target 2.0deal up if you were looking for flash drives? I guess if you only need 1?

Walmart also has a compact/mini 16gb USB 2.0 HP stick for $4.78.

I picked up the 16gb HP stick due to the small form size rather than the SanDisk one.

I've had a good experience with this USB drive. While it's considered slow these days, it has done its job without issue. I load it up with video files that I can then play on my smart TV.
