Back in 2014 NewsDeamon got a surprisingly good review by Lifehacker (back when Lifehacker was relevant):

Does anyone have more current info?

See post above yours. Apparently they lost all of their customer data? Kind of scary.

False alarm. Same old concerns.

All positive reviews for a couple of years now.

Actually $3.99, not $3 as stated in title. At this price point the $0.99 is pretty impactful..kind of shady IMO to leave that out.

Not as good as their black friday pricing, but cheaper than a lot of other providers.
They can handle gigabit speeds no problem.

I suppose the title got changed since it is showing 3.99 on my end.

As far as it not being good as the BF deal - it is .14 cents more from what I found, but I doubt that would make a difference to most considering that there is not a single provider who is close to this deal

Those were certainly better days for Usenet. The one good thing, akula is no longer trolling!

Looks like Newsdemon and Thundernews both have the same backbone of UNS Holdings.
