From what I understand, the only difference between the two is the color and storage size.

Wow if that's one of your biggest regrets in life than I'd say you are doing better than a lot of us.

Meanwhile, I still have my SNES that my parents gave me in the 90s and it still works! That was one of the best decisions my parents ever made in life.

Peace

It is 100% free. The newest version goes out to those that donate via Patreon 1 week before public release. You absolutely DO NOT NEED A 4K monitor to run CEMU. You do need a decently powerful PC. The more powerful the better. I haven't tried it in 10 months. I have an i5 4670k with 16gb of ram and finished Breath of the Wild with a 4k texture pack and very minimal issues. The recent update allows multi core CPU usage so it should work significantly better.

The Wii U is one of my all-time favorite consoles. So many good games are available. If I didn't have one already I'd be getting in on this deal for sure.

$130 is a nice deal. I bought mine back 6 months ago for $199 and it was worth it. You can't get these new anymore anyways. Put CFW on this thing and you are golden.

How does one get free shipping? It shows a charge for me.

It takes a high power PC with 4K monitor to emulate the Wii U games. The Cemu emulator is not free and it does not play all the Wii U games flawlessly.

The new update fixed issues for me that I didn't even know I had on my 16gb i7 6700k system. And no you don't need a 4K monitor. I play full screen on a 55" 1080p tv connected thru hdmi

Love my Wii U. The 8 GB could put you in an external storage dilemma sooner than later. The 32 GB will be more than enough unless you are going all digital in which you will need an external HD (may as well get the 8 Gb)

That said, I expect the local muliplayer games to really make its presence felt next year for Switch (It is where the Wii U shines) so $129 is also a nice downpayment for a still less than a year old platform.

Bought this for my kids years ago. Worst game system ever. Routinely fails to load games if there is so much as a fingerprint on the disc surface. Minor scratches render disks totally unusable. I have become an expert with a buffing wheel and plastic wax, at getting out scratches. It seems every time they try to load a disk... "Daddy... it says disk unreadable..." The controllers burn through batteries, and the nunchuk devices fail to connect on a regular basis. All in all, one of the biggest regrets of my life has been purchasing a Nintendo product.
