EDIT - I found a better deal if you have a Sam's club membership and posted it here - https://slickdeals.net/f/11120259-sam-s-club-quicken-2018-2-years-deluxe-44-86-premier-69-86-home-amp-business-89-86-shipping-or-in-store-pickup?p=110524495#post110524495

Got an email from Quicken. They listed Amazon as a retailer offering the deal, but I only see the sale prices at Best Buy, Office Depot, and Staples.

Best Buy [bestbuy.com]

Office Depot/Office Max [officedepot.com]

Staples [staples.com]

The email says the deals expire on 1/6.

EDIT- Amazon now has it on sale too (not quite as low, but a 27 month sub instead of 24, with bonus dropbox GBs)
Amazon [amazon.com]

I bought it from OfficeMax. Used urlhasbeenblocked for I think 6% cash back, and OfficeMax added 20% off if you signed up for emails. Which didn't work, until I went to Chat with them and the rep manually got me the discount. Worked out to $90.49 + tax. Then I'll get back 6% urlhasbeenblocked & 2% from my citi card.

I got 30% off through Office Depot by chatting with a rep via the 30% off $30 purchase promo currently ongoing (expires 1/6/2018). $78.74 + tax for 2 year Home & Business subscription (plus 6% CB) Smilie

Thanks, OP!

I live chatted and also got 30% additional off Quicken Deluxe. The rep actually wound up just doing it to $40, which is a bit more of discount even. Plus 6% CB and I'm at $36.40+tax.

This turned to a be a great deal!

How did you get 6% CB and 30% off? Did you place the order through CB site first and then chatted with OD for 30% off?

I had my order ready to complete, chatted and was told to complete the order and then they would adjust it once I provided the order number.

An Amazon match would be nice as they provide an extra 3 months on the subscription.

I automatically reject a company that forces an expiring subscription and you can't buy a permanent license.

I bought 1 year subscription a month ago. If I buy two more years does it add two more year on top of 1 year, or do I need to wait for my 1 year subscription expires and then activate the new subscription?

Wish I could. What alternative did you move to? I've been using Quicken since 1992!

There's really no competitor to Quicken so it can do this. Also software industry is moving towards subscription-based services, so it's just a matter of time before this happens.

Can anyone comment if this is worth the upgrade from Quicken 2016? Originally I had wanted to wait till the end of the 3 year service period...

Have Home and business for a small side business, not sure it is worth the upgrade cost.
