GREAT price on a great product! Thanks, OP!

It's very rare to see top-fill ultrasonic humidifiers under $45. Amazon currently has this one for $49.99 in black, or $69.99 in white.
https://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-Fill-Cool-Humidifier-Black/dp/B01HTZIBPO

I got 2 through the Google Express checkout using code. (Ordering 1 would have added $6 shipping, but 2 made shipping free. The $15 off code only works on orders over $55.)

But what a bunch of misinformation from other posters! This is an ULTRASONIC humidifier, and requires NO FILTER.

The Target one is a warm mist humidifier, requiring way too much cleaning for me – no comparison to this ultrasonic one. And if OhFrugal's humidifiers had a filter (as he says) they weren't this model!

Personally, I much prefer ultrasonic humidifiers, vs warm mist ones that require constant cleaning, or cool mist that put out virtually no moisture. (If you have very hard water, ultrasonics may leave a fine residue unless you use distilled water. We've had no problem with our big-city water doing that, though.)

Biggest pain of most ultrasonics is having to cart the tank to a sink, and turn it upside down to fill. This one can be filled in-place, from the top, without having to remove the reservoir. A HUGE benefit for me. Also great for an elderly person, who can bring water to it a bit at a time.

(I bought this model - HUL570 - last year for my mom, and it's been excellent for her. With her old bottom-fill humidifier, she always needed for someone else to fill it for her)

BTW, OP, you might want to edit the title to include ULTRASONIC. Very dumb on Honeywell's part to not include it in the product name, though they do in the product description.

Just a forewarning. These break a lot because you need to replace parts on it. They don't tell you in the manual but there is a usage limit where parts need to be replaced of the pump doesn't work right.

I have the warm mist humidifier rather than the cool mist and I think a more proper warning would be to clean it often to keep it from breaking. I bought the warm mist one maybe 2 weeks ago max and the amount of calcification I got on it already is amazing. I let it soak all day in vinegar today to get some of that off but if i run it often and never clean it, I'm sure it would break.

Not seeing humidifier in white. This shows image of humidifier, but search on Walmart.com shows air filters:

I bought three of a different Honeywell top fill humidifier because they were on clearance (around $7.00 each). It had something like a hose connecting the pump to take the water to the top, a channel in the plastic to distribute the water to the filter below (the removable reservoir based ones I have used don't need any pump since the water is supplied to the filter at the bottom). It was not doing anything. Being an engineering professor, a mod specialist Smilie and one who would not give up so fast, I decided to drill few extra holes at strategic locations on (the bottom of) that top plastic channel to increase water going to the filter. Still it would not do the job.

Few months ago as I cleaned the house, I gave away all the three to GoodWill. So, make sure this model at least works.

I would also consider the Mainstays Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier, PJ8005, for $20

Wonder what good a bunch of broken humidifiers will do for Goodwill! (Unless I misunderstood you).

I wouldn't ever recommend supporting anything even loosely tied to HONEYWELL.

Sounds about how theyve gone about their Lake Cleanup. Slipshod at best
